The difference between galvanized round pipe and hot-dip galvanized steel pipe

Nov. 19, 2020

There are many kinds of round pipe materials, the most common is plastic pipe or steel pipe. In addition to these two commonly used round pipes, there are aluminum pipes, iron pipes, electroplated steel pipes, galvanized round pipes and so on. Today I will introduce galvanized round pipes to everyone. Galvanized round pipe and hot-dip galvanized steel pipe have many similarities, so I decided to use their differences to understand galvanized round pipe.

Galvanized round pipe is a raw material called (zinc) coated with a layer of cold-rolled or hot-rolled, long and narrow steel plate in varying degrees. Hot-dip galvanizing has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion and long service life. The hot-dip galvanized steel pipe matrix undergoes a complex physical and chemical reaction with the molten plating solution to form a corrosion-resistant zinc-iron alloy layer with a compact structure. The alloy layer is integrated with the pure zinc layer and the strip steel matrix. Therefore, its corrosion resistance is strong.

1. Hot-dip galvanized steel pipe structure: The hot-dip galvanized round pipe reacts molten metal and iron gas to form an alloy layer, which combines gas and electroplating. The supplied heat pipe is first pickled on the steel pipe to remove the iron oxide on the surface of the steel pipe. After the pickling, it is cleaned by chlorofluorocarbon or zinc chloride aqueous solution or a mixed aqueous solution of zinc chloride and zinc chloride, and then put into hot dip plating groove. Hot gold has the advantages of uniform electroplating, strong adhesion and long life. The hot-dip galvanized steel pipe base and the molten bath undergo a complex physical and chemical reaction to form a dense zinc-iron alloy layer with a corrosion-resistant structure. The alloy layer is integrated with the pure zinc layer and steel pipe gas. Therefore, it has strong corrosion resistance.

2. Galvanized pipe structure: The production process of galvanized round pipe is adjusted. First, the DJI for its manufacturing is pickled to remove the iron oxide on the surface of DJI. After the pickling, it is cleaned with a chlorofluorocarbon or zinc chloride aqueous solution or a mixed aqueous solution tank of zinc chloride and zinc chloride, and then placed Into the hot dip plating tank. It is then dried to make a round tube. The electroplating is uniform, shiny, and the amount of zinc plating is small, which is lower than the cost of producing heat pipes.

3. The difference between hot-dip galvanized steel pipe and galvanized pipe:

The difference between the two: 1) The color of the eyes of the heat pipe is white but does not shine, and the surface has many snowflake shapes. The two ports have zinc (condensed zinc). 2) The galvanized large tube is white, shiny and reflective. There is almost no snowflake shape, and the two ports are clean and zinc-free tumors.

Introduce the difference between galvanized round pipe and hot-dip galvanized steel pipe. Galvanized round pipe is made of chlorination or oxidation, so it has high corrosion resistance and wear resistance and is not easily corroded by moisture in the air. In addition, the color of the galvanized round tube is turquoise, and the reflection is easy to identify.
