Introduction to the production process of Galvalume sheet

Dec. 27, 2019

The corrosion resistance of 55% aluminized Galvalume sheet is 2 to 6 times that of Galvanized steel. Because of its superior corrosion resistance and processing performance, it can be directly used as building roofing panels, civilian and home appliance backplanes, etc., and is widely used For color coated substrates.

Step 1: After the cold-rolled coil comes to the aluminized zinc workshop, after passing through the uncoiler, it passes through the degreasing section and reduction furnace to clean the steel coil and reduce its composition to the extent that it can be galvanized.

Step 2: The most critical technology is this step. After passing the zinc pot, a layer of zinc is plated on the surface of the steel plate. After coming out of the zinc pot, it immediately looks beautiful and then passes the cooling tower to cool and shape. Cinderella becomes Beautiful princess.

Step 3: The steel plate finally comes to the post-processing stage after various processes. After finishing, drawing, straightening, and passivation, it finally winds up on the winder to form the final product.

55% aluminized zinc sheet has the protective function of the barrier layer from aluminum and sacrificial protection function of zinc. When zinc has cut edges and scratches, aluminum will form an insoluble oxide layer for protection. In addition, the density of aluminized zinc is low, and the thickness of the coating with the same weight is much thicker than that of galvanized. In addition to corrosion resistance and high-temperature resistance, 55% aluminized zinc plate has good reflectivity and good adhesion of the painted coating. There are also 55% aluminized zinc sheets with various zinc flowering states, and the surface is beautiful, suitable for external use.
