Precautions for the use of galvanized sheet

Jan. 04, 2021

1. If water leakage occurs during storage and handling, it may cause rust. Please pay close attention to handling, moisture and condensation in rainy days. In addition, high humidity and acidic environment are not conducive to storage, so please keep it in a dry and clean room.

2. If an organic solvent is used to wipe the surface of the Galvanized Mild Steel sheet , the electro-galvanized coating on the surface may be lost or peeled off. Please pay attention.

3. If foreign matter such as oil stains is attached, it may affect the performance, please pay attention to it.

4. If the processing level is high, the zinc layer may be damaged, please confirm before use.

5. With the passage of time, the steel sheet may have reduced processing performance and tensile deformation. To prevent this, it is recommended to use it as soon as possible.galvanized sheet

According to production and processing methods, it can be divided into the following categories:

1. Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. The thin steel sheet is immersed in the molten zinc tank, so that a thin steel plate with a layer of zinc is adhered to the surface. At present, the continuous galvanizing process is mainly used for production, that is, the rolled steel sheet is continuously immersed in the molten zinc plating tank to make the galvanized steel sheet;

2. Alloyed galvanized steel sheet. This kind of steel plate is also manufactured by hot dipping method, but after it is out of the tank, it is heated to about 500°C to form an alloy film of zinc and iron. This galvanized sheet has good paint adhesion and weldability;

3. Electro-galvanized steel sheet. The galvanized steel sheet produced by the electroplating method has good workability. However, the coating is thinner and the corrosion resistance is not as good as the hot-dip galvanized sheet;

4. Single-sided and double-sided differential galvanized steel sheet. Single-sided galvanized steel sheet is a product that is galvanized on only one side. In welding, painting, anti-rust treatment, processing, etc., it has better adaptability than double-sided galvanized sheet.

In order to overcome the shortcomings of uncoated zinc on one side, there is another galvanized sheet coated with a thin layer of zinc on the other side, namely double-sided differential galvanized sheet;

5. Alloy and composite galvanized steel sheet. It is made of zinc and other metals such as aluminum, lead, zinc, etc. to make alloys and even composite plated steel plates. This kind of steel plate not only has excellent anti-rust performance, but also has good coating performance;
